Senior🎓
Top SchoolJeff D is a founder and seasoned software engineer with a decade of experience building developer tools, cloud-native workflows, and scalable platform infrastructure. He led development of the Heroku CLI and created oclif and mise-en-place, popular open-source projects that shaped modern CLI tooling for Node.js and large orgs. His career spans leadership roles at Meta, Amazon, Dropbox, and Figma where he drove client release systems, language tooling, CI/CD base images, and cloud dev environments. Comfortable across Node.js, Rust, Go, and Python, he blends hands-on engineering with product-minded systems design and observability. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, he publishes technical writing (including a MEAN stack book) and favors rapid iteration—draft, experiment, repeat—as a core approach.
