Top SchoolJeff Emminger is a seasoned software engineer with 13 years of full-stack Ruby on Rails experience, currently building production systems at KnowBe4 while leading development efforts at Seventh Compass. He specializes in Postgres-backed web apps and modern front-end stacks including ES6, Vue.js, HTML5/CSS3 and SASS, with a pragmatic eye for maintainable code. His career traces back to long-term enterprise application work at Tower Hill and early Rails-focused development at ELC, giving him deep institutional knowledge of evolving web architectures. Jeff pairs hands-on implementation with leadership, having served as Lead Developer while still contributing directly to codebases. Based in Gainesville, Florida, he brings a collaborative, steady approach informed by over a decade of shipping features and sustaining legacy systems. An unexpected note: he once toured as a drummer and background vocalist, a background that hints at strong teamwork and rhythm in both code and collaboration.
