Senior🎓
Top SchoolJeff Lang is a Senior Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building and securing production systems across Ruby on Rails, Python, Go, and data platforms like Spark. He blends hands-on backend development with AppSec expertise and a recent focus on DevOps/MLOps—deploying ML workloads on AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and SageMaker. His career spans startups and security-focused firms (Movable Ink, Red Canary, NCC Group) and now Zscaler, demonstrating a rare mix of feature delivery and security consulting. Based in the New York City area, he’s comfortable reviewing code at scale, operationalizing models, and shifting legacy Rails services into cloud-native pipelines. An unusually broad practitioner, he pairs early web development roots with modern MLOps tooling to bridge product, security, and infrastructure concerns.
