Top SchoolJeff Luckett is a Staff Software Engineer with 12+ years building scalable web and SaaS platforms, particularly in Ruby on Rails and API-driven architectures. He has led major migrations and integrations—most notably porting a legacy Rails monolith to a modern Rails/Angular REST stack and moving an advertising platform to AWS with Docker, ECR, and CloudFormation at Roku/DataXu. Comfortable working across product, SME, and engineering boundaries, he focuses on performance, security, and deploy automation while coaching small distributed teams. Based in Newton, MA, he pairs deep technical chops with practical business experience, including consulting to restructure a family business and seasonal work as a PSIA-certified ski instructor, a detail that underscores his adaptability and collaborative teaching style.
