Top SchoolJeff Mcclintock is a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years specializing in audio software, DSP, and cross-platform C++ development for plugins (VST3, AU, AAX) and applications. He has led engineering work at companies like Waves Audio, inMusic, and Exonic UK, and currently builds audio products at SSG Audio while running his long-standing SynthEdit project that implements a cross-platform graphics and plugin framework. Comfortable across low-level audio code, custom UI/graphics (JUCE, Direct2D, Cocoa/Quartz), and modern CI/CD tooling (Azure Pipelines, Perforce, git), he blends deep DSP knowledge with pragmatic product delivery. He also brings entrepreneurial chops as founder of SynthEdit and co-owner of a downtown co-working space in Timaru, demonstrating an ability to balance product development with small-business operations. Notably, his work includes building mastering and instrument plugins with polished animations and platform-specific packaging (code signing and notarization), signaling attention to both technical detail and user experience.
