Top SchoolJeff Moe is a founder and entrepreneur with 13+ years leading free/libre/open source software and hardware ventures focused on user freedom, privacy, and security. He launched Aleph Objects, creator of the LulzBot RepRap 3D printers—the first product line to earn the Free Software Foundation's Respects Your Freedom certification—and later founded Fork Sand, Inc. to build FPGA-based, RISC-V computers with libre toolchains. Comfortable moving between technical leadership and hands-on product development, he has grown hardware companies to national recognition (Inc. fastest-growing hardware company) and navigated manufacturing, open-source communities, and privacy-focused device design. Based in Loveland, Colorado, Jeff brings a rare mix of philosophical training and practical engineering, tracing his roots from early ISP and refurbishing businesses to modern secure-computing platforms. Notably, his work consistently blends community-driven open development with commercially viable hardware products.
