Top SchoolJeff Rames is a Senior/Staff-level iOS engineer with 10+ years building secure, scalable mobile apps for healthcare and fintech, including HIPAA-compliant clinical tools and consumer platforms used by millions. He’s led cross-functional teams at GoodRx, Teladoc Health, USAA, and AirStrip, driving architecture, migrations to Swift/SwiftUI, and productionizing ML features like a CoreML + VisionKit scanner. A pragmatic mentor and technical editor for Razeware, he pairs hands-on delivery with teaching—co-authoring iOS books and running intensive bootcamps to upskill new developers. He’s also an indie maker: Trip Tunes, his App Store–featured project, combines MusicKit with OpenAI to recommend road-trip playlists and has seen downloads across 20+ countries. Based in San Antonio, he focuses on testability, maintainability, and developer tooling to make complex health and finance domains both reliable and humane.
