Senior🎓
Top SchoolJeff Risberg is a principal software architect and seasoned entrepreneur with four decades of hands-on engineering and leadership across enterprise software, AI, and analytics. He co-founded key real-time and integration technologies at TIBCO, led product and architecture at Aisera (now part of Automation Anywhere), and has driven successful startups and seven exits including one $1B+ outcome. Equally comfortable at the whiteboard and in the codebase, he architects distributed microservices, ML/NLP pipelines, and front-end channels while mentoring cross-functional teams. His background spans finance-grade real-time systems, search-based marketing optimization, social health gaming, and environmental analytics, reflecting a rare mix of domain depth and technical breadth. A Stanford Sloan Fellow and long-time angel/advisor, he combines startup strategy with production-grade delivery across Java, Python, Kubernetes, TensorFlow and cloud platforms. Less obvious: he has repeatedly taken technical leadership roles midstream—accelerating delivery velocity by factors of several while guiding M&A integrations and product pivots.
