Senior🎓
Top SchoolJeff Schenk is a senior software engineer and systems architect with decades-spanning experience who now focuses on modernizing cloud-native platforms and microservices for utilities and enterprise customers. He bridges deep legacy systems and cutting-edge stacks—recently leading migrations to Spring Boot 3/Framework 6, Java 21 (virtual threads), Tanzu and Kubernetes while replatforming identity and API services. His strengths include data and object modeling, resiliency frameworks, messaging/event-driven design and Knowledge/Space-based computing, informed by long-running work on persistence and CMDB systems. Jeff has repeatedly served as technical lead and mentor, delivering orchestration, IdP/JWT solutions, and developer “commons” libraries that accelerate microservice delivery. Beyond Java, he explores Go, Rust, Node.js and hobbyist IoT like Raspberry Pi, reflecting a practical curiosity that helps him evaluate disruptive technologies. Based in the United States, he pairs hands-on engineering with architectural strategy to modernize complex, regulated infrastructures.
