Top SchoolJeff Thompson is a Principal Software Architect with 14 years of professional engineering experience and a long history of building scalable back ends, distributed systems, and OS-level security solutions. He has led engineering teams and shaped policy—working closely with HR and leadership—to balance technical delivery with people-first culture, from indie startups to game studios and enterprise agritech. Notable past work includes architecting a high-throughput distributed framework for online games and developing kernel-level security and full-disk encryption early in his career. At Corteva/Granular he shifted between hands-on development and architecture, bringing practical scalability and data-focused thinking to farm management software. Based in Mahomet, Illinois, he’s actively seeking opportunities to lead or join teams tackling interesting technical challenges.
