Top SchoolJeffrey Chin is a Senior Systems Concept Engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience in aerospace and propulsion, currently shaping systems at Draper after a long research tenure at NASA Glenn. He combines rigorous MSE-level propulsion expertise from Purdue with practical mechanical and aerospace foundations from Case Western, enabling him to translate complex propulsion concepts into testable system architectures. At NASA he led research-driven engineering efforts, honing skills in data analysis, programming, and technical presentations that bridge lab results and stakeholder decisions. Based in Boston, he excels at turning exploratory research into operational concepts and is comfortable navigating both deep technical details and high-level system tradeoffs. An analytically minded communicator, he often surfaces non-obvious performance limits early in development to de-risk programs and accelerate design maturity.
