Top SchoolJeffrey Mclean is a UI-focused full-stack software architect with over a decade of experience designing enterprise platforms and developer-facing tooling, currently shaping the Experience Platform at Expedia Group. He blends deep hands-on expertise in React, GraphQL, Node, and TypeScript with a penchant for defining reusable application patterns, libraries, and documentation that scale across hundreds of developers. Previously he led web platform initiatives at HomeAway/Vrbo, creating component libraries, scaffolding, and node ecosystems that standardized how teams build production applications. Jeffrey’s background as a visual effects artist and technical lead in feature films informs a strong craft sensibility for UX, performance, and tooling—an unusual cross-disciplinary strength that helps bridge design and engineering. Known for clear communication and consensus-building, he routinely breaks down complex problems into pragmatic visions and implementation roadmaps. Based in Austin, he combines platform-level strategy with frequent full-stack implementation to move large engineering communities forward.
