Top SchoolJenna Pederson is a Staff Developer Advocate at Pinecone with 15 years of professional experience and two decades of hands-on software engineering experience across startups, enterprise, and community organizations. She built and led developer relations and content strategies at AWS—launching Community.aws, changing legal content guidelines to enable more authentic developer voice, and mentoring dozens of advocates and creators. As a founder and principal engineer at 612 Software Foundry she translated product ideas into production prototypes and coached entrepreneurs on technical and business strategy, while maintaining deep full‑stack fluency in Ruby on Rails, Node, and modern front-end frameworks. Jenna has a long record of community leadership in Minnesota—chairing minne✱, co-founding Hack the Gap, and growing local tech events to thousands of attendees—which informs her pragmatic, community-first approach to developer experience. She pairs technical credibility with storytelling and content craft, producing hands-on demos, video, and written resources that drive product feedback into roadmap decisions. Based in Minneapolis, she blends startup grit, enterprise impact, and civic tech stewardship in ways that often surface non-obvious connections between community needs and product strategy.
