Top SchoolJenner Balagot is a payments and compliance leader with 20+ years bridging financial crime prevention, regulatory strategy, and global payments product development across fintech and big tech. Currently Director of Global Affairs and Strategic Development for the Americas at Ant International, he previously built payments networks and compliance programs as CCO for X/Twitter Money and Ant Group, and led global licensing and regulatory engagement across Americas, APAC and EMEA. He combines hands-on operational experience—from building KYC/EDD teams and SAR/OFAC programs at major banks to drafting export licenses for satellite tech—with strategic public policy work that shapes cross-border payment rails. As President of the International Association of Financial Investigators (San Francisco) he fosters practitioner collaboration and AML knowledge-sharing. Known for pragmatic, iterative problem solving (“design, execute, refine, repeat”), he brings an engineer’s curiosity to policy and product challenges and even jokes that he’s “a cat that catches bugs.”
