Top SchoolJennifer Vossen is a senior full-stack engineer with 10 years of experience blending Human-Computer Interaction expertise and pragmatic software delivery, currently building scalable features at Workday. She ships front-end-first single-page apps and microservices using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and RxJS, with hands-on experience across Ruby on Rails, Drupal, and responsive HTML/CSS. Comfortable with both relational and real-time datastores (Postgres, MySQL, Firebase), she pairs engineering rigor—unit testing with Jasmine/Mocha and API documentation—with cross-functional collaboration in Agile teams. Her background in user research and prototyping from Carnegie Mellon and NASA informs a strong product sensibility and usability focus that often shapes architecture and UX decisions. Outside large orgs she’s delivered bespoke web solutions for nonprofits and small businesses, demonstrating an ability to move quickly from wireframes to production.
