Top SchoolJens Finnäs is a veteran data and climate journalist turned founder-CEO with 12+ years of experience building data-driven newsroom products and services from Stockholm. Since launching Newsworthy in 2017 and founding Sweden’s first freelance agency for data journalism, he has helped major Swedish and Finnish outlets such as Aftonbladet, Sveriges Radio and Helsingin Sanomat turn complex data into engaging stories and visualizations. His background in political science and journalism, combined with hands-on work as a robot journalist since 2016, gives him a rare mix of editorial judgment, automation expertise and product leadership. Often operating as a consultant and freelancer, he’s skilled at training newsrooms and scaling data workflows across organizations while keeping climate reporting rigor front and center.
