Top SchoolJens Kjærgaard is a seasoned hardware and software developer with 13+ years in embedded systems and a career spanning three decades building microprocessor-based controllers and building automation solutions. He combines deep electrical engineering roots (MSc in Electronic Engineering) with hands-on embedded Linux and Yocto/OE expertise, plus Arduino and legacy microcontroller firmware. As owner and consultant at multiple companies, he has repeatedly taken projects from circuit and firmware design through product development and field service, blending practical installation experience with robust software craftsmanship. Based in North Denmark, he quietly bridges old-school industrial control know-how with modern Linux-embedded toolchains, making him valuable for projects that must integrate new software stacks with long-lived hardware.
