Top SchoolJeongik Cha is a Staff Software Engineering Manager based in Seoul with 11 years of experience designing and shipping system-level and full-stack software, primarily at Google. He blends deep expertise in functional and concurrent programming with practical system architecture work across Android Open Source Project build and core subsystems, including tooling to diff binary images and build optimizations for AOSP. His background at LG demonstrates a track record of performance engineering—halving per-frame video processing time and dramatically cutting app startup latency through bundling and lazy-loading. Comfortable from low-level init and toolchain integration to Angular front-end work, he combines hands-on coding with team leadership and build automation at scale. Less obvious: he frequently bridges classical competitive-programming rigor with production-grade engineering to tackle complex concurrency and build-system problems.
