Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJeremy Gao is a product-focused data science leader with a track record of building and scaling analytics and ML teams across major internet platforms, currently heading Data Science for TikTok’s Ecommerce product. He has led cross-regional teams covering sellers, creators, affiliates and merchandising after senior data science leadership roles at Kuaishou and product analytics work at DiDi, NetApp and Financial Engines. Jeremy blends rigorous experimentation, causal inference and marketplace modeling with practical product delivery—tackling cold-start, content diversity and timeliness problems at scale. He holds an MBA in Business Analytics and a statistics undergraduate degree, which underpin his ability to bridge business strategy with quantitative rigor. Based in Vancouver, he pairs fast-moving global product experience with an engineer’s curiosity (also visible in a lighthearted GitHub presence as “pseudocirno”).
