Top SchoolJeremy Ward is a Software Engineer II with 12 years of experience building and integrating custom web features, primarily using PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress, and currently contributing to product development at Ziff Davis Shopping. He’s shipped large-scale WordPress projects for enterprise clients, led platform consolidations and cross-team DevOps efforts, and has driven feature work across mobile and streaming platforms, tax and membership systems, and content personalization. Comfortable as a technical lead and individual contributor, he improves testability, deploy workflows, and developer tooling while mentoring peers and shaping hiring practices. An avid tinkerer, Jeremy explores Python, Go, Swift, and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Flask, React, Next.js) to make his WordPress expertise more portable and to uncover pragmatic cross-ecosystem solutions. Off-hours he balances engineering with creative curiosity—he’s a board game enthusiast who brings the same strategic thinking to product design and technical trade-offs.
