Top SchoolJerin Jacob is a seasoned embedded systems and SoC software leader with 13+ years of experience building and bringing up multicore MIPS and ARM platforms, now serving as Senior Director at Marvell Semiconductor. He combines deep hands-on expertise in Linux, eCos and u-boot porting with driver development across PCIe, USB, Ethernet, NAND/Serial NOR, DMA and many SoC peripherals, and has led pre‑tapeout FPGA bring‑ups and SoC simulation model creation. He has driven distribution management and boot-time optimizations, migrated stacks between RTOS and embedded Linux, and holds RHCE certification that underscores his systems-level Linux mastery. Notably, he pairs kernel and driver-level problem solving with close hardware collaboration—characterizing silicon behavior and implementing software workarounds during ASIC bring-up.
