Top SchoolJeroen Hellingman is a seasoned software engineer with over 20 years in application and web development and more than 16 years focused on healthcare software for companies like Ericsson, Philips and GE Healthcare. He combines hands-on coding in Java, C++, C# and web technologies (JavaScript, PHP, XML/XSLT) with pragmatic design practices—OO design, MVC and UML—and experience as a Scrum Master. Comfortable across Windows, macOS and Linux, he excels at translating user needs into requirements, user stories and deliverable software while adhering to strict quality, documentation and risk-analysis standards common in regulated industries. He also maintains long-running personal projects: a high-traffic tourism site he built from scratch in 2001 and an offline Android dictionary app with strong user ratings, and contributes tooling to Project Gutenberg (TEI-to-HTML/ePub XSLT). Known for a no-frills, common-sense approach to process and collaboration, he blends independent initiative with seasoned teamwork. Located in the Randstad, he brings steady, practical engineering judgement to complex, quality-sensitive projects.
