Senior🎓
Top SchoolJeroen Trappers is a pragmatic software architect and entrepreneur with 14+ years of hands-on experience building mobile-first products and scalable backends, now leading development at Secutec. With a Master's in Informatics and a track record from startups to enterprise banks, he blends native iOS/Android and Flutter expertise with cloud-native backend design using Kubernetes, AWS/Azure and Postgres. He champions secure, usable systems—often doubling as CTO, full‑stack implementer and devops engineer—to move ideas from prototype to production. Known for fixing upstream issues and contributing practical improvements to open-source plugins, he favors pragmatic, user-centered engineering over ivory-tower designs. A clear communicator and fast learner, he pairs an eye for detail with experience across embedded firmware to Elastic/Kibana observability stacks. Based in Belgium, he balances technical depth with entrepreneurial drive and a fondness for cats.
