Senior🎓
Top SchoolJérôme Desseaux is a senior software engineer and freelance architect with 11 years of experience building and scaling backend systems for e-commerce and data-heavy platforms. Currently at Back Market after leading engineering at Lengow, he specializes in Django-based architectures, performance optimization for high-volume ingestion and query workloads, and mentoring junior teams through complex upgrades. His background spans data science and full-stack work—bringing expertise in Python, Spark, APIs and voice/AI POCs for clients like Chanel and large public-sector projects—so he bridges model-driven insights with production-grade engineering. Based in Normandy, he is pragmatic about trade-offs and known for shrinking latency and database load in systems that started to falter as they grew.
