Senior🎓
Top SchoolJerome Thayananthajothy is a Technical Lead with 11 years of experience designing and delivering high-performance web applications and systems from Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has rebuilt and scaled decade-old platforms, established engineering standards, and led multiple end-to-end projects using PHP, TypeScript, Vue/React, AWS DynamoDB, and relational databases. Comfortable both shaping architecture and mentoring teams, he brings hands-on coding discipline alongside process-driven delivery. His career spans startups and international firms, recently moving into a leadership role at Brompton Bicycle after senior engineering posts at NetWatch and MacroActive. Notably, he pairs formal study in computer science and electrical engineering with practical experience across front-end, backend, and cloud data stores—often turning legacy codebases into maintainable, scalable products. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic technologist who enjoys solving thorny integration and performance problems, even when he jokingly downplays it with “I code...?” on GitHub.
