Jerry Pratt is a veteran robotics leader and CTO who has spent three decades building bipedal humanoid robots and the organizations that create them, including leading the IHMC Robotics Lab to a top finish in the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge. He combines deep research pedigree (PhD-level work at MIT and 20 years at IHMC) with hands-on startup execution, most recently founding Persona AI to bring humanoids into practical use. Jerry favors decentralized decision-making and autonomous teams that can assemble complex systems from many moving parts, and he enjoys scaling high-performance teams as much as the machines they build. A serial founder and seasoned CTO, he has repeatedly bridged cutting-edge research and product-grade engineering to push humanoids toward “prime time.”
