Top SchoolJesse Quinn is an SRE and DevSecOps manager based in Fremont, CA with a decade of experience building and operating resilient on-prem and cloud infrastructure. At ZPE Systems he progressed from DevOps engineer to manager, leading teams that deploy Terraform-driven automation, Kubernetes, Go-based tooling, and multi-database platforms (Postgres, Cassandra, Mongo) across GCP, AWS and Linode. He combines deep production ops expertise—capacity planning, disaster recovery, monitoring and security—with hands-on development in Go and CI/CD automation. Jesse’s background is unusually multidisciplinary: a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and advanced degrees in chemistry alongside formal computer programming training, which informs a methodical, data-driven approach to systems design. He’s comfortable bridging research-grade rigor and pragmatic engineering, having previously applied observability and IaC practices across startups and academic labs. Known for turning complex, distributed stacks into reliable, auditable platforms, he emphasizes automation and measurable operational outcomes.
