Top SchoolJesus Lara is a seasoned freelance technologist with 12+ years specializing in free and open-source software, Linux systems administration, and database engineering (PostgreSQL, MySQL). He has led open-source initiatives and companies—founding Soft Project and serving as CTO at Bizwi—while advising governments and enterprises on migrations, directory services (OpenLDAP), virtualization, and data platforms. A pragmatic Python developer and core architect on TROC Global, he blends hands‑on systems work with application development and data-integration expertise. His career combines long-term consulting engagements across telecom, public sector, and private industry with workshop-style training and schema design for robust directory and DB solutions. Based in Fuensalida, Spain, he is as comfortable building custom hardware-software stacks as he is optimizing complex PL/pgSQL and PL/Python logic. Colleagues describe him as a collaborative advocate for the Free Knowledge movement who turns open standards into production-ready services.
