Senior🎓
Top SchoolJésus Lopes is a founder and seasoned software leader with 17 years of experience building scalable web platforms and payment solutions, currently running MaltLabs and his photography studio in São Paulo. He blends hands-on backend expertise in Ruby on Rails and Elixir with product-minded engineering leadership, having led teams at Lia, mLabs and Quero Educação to deliver APIs, fraud prevention, and ads/checkout systems. An entrepreneur since 2009, he co-founded and scaled agencies and startups, bridging technical delivery with hiring, training, and operational strategy. Outside code, Jesús channels curiosity into professional photography—turning a travel hobby into a studio business—and he approaches both disciplines with the same emphasis on storytelling and craft.
