Top SchoolJez Mckean is a pragmatic full-stack engineer with over 20 years of web development experience and a 12-year track record of senior roles delivering customer-facing products and internal tooling across PHP/Laravel, JS frameworks (Vue, React/Next, Angular) and cloud integrations. He has driven large PWA and hybrid app projects that moved high-volume payments and scaled to hundreds of thousands of users, led teams and selected stacks, and won industry awards for UX and performance. Recent work focuses on UX improvements, third-party data ingestion (energy, air quality, presence) and AWS Lambda/API Gateway pipelines, showing a blend of frontend polish and backend reliability. Jez pairs hands-on coding with mentoring and process improvements, and often bridges design and engineering to lift product UX rather than just ship features.
