Top SchoolJhon S is a versatile software engineering specialist with 12 years of experience across full-stack development, SRE, release engineering, tech leadership and engineering management, currently driving platform work at Unico ID. He has built platforms from scratch—most notably a subscription platform at Nubank supporting millions of customers—and led cloud foundation, observability and security squads in fast-growing startups. Skilled across Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD and languages from Clojure and Go to frontend frameworks, he excels at turning operational complexity into repeatable developer workflows. An active contributor to the Portuguese React documentation, he invests in developer experience and inner-source efforts that scale knowledge across teams. Known for being the lone SRE who structured observability and infra-as-code practices early on, he combines hands-on engineering with people development to prepare teams for rapid growth. Based in Brazil, he focuses on delivering results that improve users’ lives while keeping a curiosity for “messing with everything.”
