Senior🎓
Top SchoolJhonathan De Souza Soares is a senior project leader and seasoned technology manager with over 15 years in IT and a dozen years leading engineering teams across startups and multinationals like Mercado Livre, Walmart, Santander and Nubank. He combines deep hands-on expertise in .NET, NodeJS and Python with proven experience designing scalable architectures—microservices and monoliths—handling terabytes of data and high-concurrency systems powered by NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Neo4j). As a former Head of Engineering and Lead Solutions Architect, he grew teams from a handful to ~70 people, drove Series A/B funding impacts, led multiple M&A integrations, and launched regulated fintech initiatives such as Tokenizadora.com. A nine-time Microsoft MVP and active community creator (CodigoSimples.net with 60k monthly visits), he blends technical authority with talent development practices (1:1s, IDPs, OKRs, DORA) and Management 3.0. Based in São Paulo, he is equally comfortable steering cloud budgets and vendor strategy as he is mentoring engineers and shaping developer experience and inner-source platforms.
