🤩
RockstarJia Yaoqi is a founder and seasoned Web3 infrastructure leader with eight years of experience building scalable, decentralized systems from research to production. He founded AltLayer, a decentralized interlayer for rollups, and previously led Parity Asia to grow the Substrate/Polkadot developer ecosystem and advocate core blockchain infrastructure. As CTO and co-founder of Zilliqa he helped design and deploy one of the earliest sharded public blockchains, and he has steered accelerator programs that incubated multiple parachain candidates. His background includes academic research in web and network security (PhD, NUS) with publications and disclosed vulnerabilities acknowledged by major vendors, bringing a security-first mindset to protocol design. Based in Singapore, he combines deep technical rigor with community-building and advisory roles across the Web3 stack. Quietly, he pairs entrepreneurial drive with an ethos of personal freedom—“be who you want to be”—that informs his open, developer-focused approach to infrastructure.
