Senior🎓
Top SchoolJiabang Lin is a seasoned Windows driver field application engineer with over 10 years of experience designing high-performance kernel drivers and virtualization plumbing for x86/ARM/PowerPC platforms. He has deep expertise in virtual memory, multiprocessor primitives, PCI/DMA/interrupt programming, Intel VMX/VT-d, SR-IOV and KVM, and has delivered production drivers across Linux and Windows WDM/WDF/WDDM stacks. His work includes boosting product adoption and performance—tripling sales for Fresco Logic’s FL2000 USB display by delivering a superior driver and achieving 430MB/s USB3.0 storage throughput at MCCI with a custom UASP driver. Jiabang combines low-level reverse-engineering skill with systems design, having implemented DXVA-to-VDPAU translation, GPU-sharing for VMs, and high-performance shared-memory engines for QEMU/KVM. Based in New Taipei, Taiwan, he blends hands-on driver development, architecture-level virtualization know-how, and mentorship to uplift engineering teams. An uncommon strength is his breadth across USB protocols, video acceleration APIs, and SoC firmware/boot firmware, enabling end-to-end platform solutions.
