Senior🎓
Top SchoolJiahong Wang is a data engineer and consultant with 10+ years of experience building production-grade data platforms and ML-enabled analytics across companies like Wolt, Swappie, Microsoft partners, and Wärtsilä. He designs scalable ETL and warehouse solutions (AWS Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse) and has a track record of migrating legacy systems, optimizing performance, and automating orchestration with Airflow. Equally comfortable in backend development (Python, Django, FastAPI, NestJS) and data engineering (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop), he bridges data science, product and infra to deliver business-impacting features such as churn prediction, LTV/ROAS attribution and partner-facing APIs. Notably, he led Skype’s first XGBoost fraud model and managed a 25-year SAP data migration, reflecting a knack for turning messy, high-stakes datasets into reliable assets. Based in Helsinki, he blends hands-on implementation with a strategic view of cost, performance and operability.
