Summary
👤
SeniorJiangkun Qiu is a software engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience building high-performance systems across trading, blockchain research, and large-scale developer tooling. Expert in Rust, modern C++, Java, and Python, he has deep foundations in algorithms, OS, networking, and ML, and has shipped low-latency HFT cores, TB-scale data tooling, and a git-fuse solution that dramatically reduced clone times and disk usage at ByteDance. He’s built a custom TCP stack and an OS in Rust as side projects, showing uncommon systems-level curiosity beyond typical application development. Comfortable across the stack, Jiangkun blends production-grade engineering with research-driven prototyping, frequently optimizing for throughput, cache behavior, and developer ergonomics. Based in Chongqing and trained at HKUST, he brings a pragmatic, systems-first approach to complex, performance-sensitive problems.
