Top SchoolJianmin Chen is a seasoned software programmer based in Vancouver with over 11 years of professional experience spanning C/C++/C#/Java/JavaScript, SQL Server, ASP.NET and full-stack web and Windows application development. She blends hands-on engineering—building e-commerce sites, inventory and order-processing systems, ETL/OLAP solutions and BI reports—with practical DBA and PowerPivot expertise using SQL Server 2008 R2. Her background spans startups to enterprise customers and academia, including Ph.D. research on wireless anonymity and teaching labs in programming and logic design, reflecting both deep technical skill and instructional experience. Jianmin has a track record of debugging and extending production systems (restaurant and telecom software early in her career) and has led small product efforts at MP Lighting using Microsoft Dynamics and VBA automation. Beyond code, she navigated and managed a complex self-led immigration legal appeal, demonstrating persistence, research rigor and project management under pressure. An active blogger and GitHub/HackerRank participant, she combines curiosity-driven learning with a results-oriented engineering mindset.
