Jiazhi Guo is a master's student in computer science at NTUST and a COSQA project member at Academia Sinica, with about a decade of hands-on experience building deep learning, NLP, and ASR systems from research prototypes to deployed services. He has published at INTERSPEECH, APSIPA and ROCLING for work that ranges from exploiting acoustic features in spoken QA to reinforcement learning–enhanced extractive summarization, and has won two Kaggle silver medals in NLP competitions. His technical portfolio includes end-to-end and HMM-based ASR (ESPnet, Kaldi), varied summarization and QA systems (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, BERT/RoBERTa ensembles), and practical deployment automation for the Formosa Grand Challenge. Notably, he led large-scale generalization experiments across pretrained models and built hybrid BERT-and-rule modules capable of arithmetic and date/duration inference, blending research rigor with production-minded engineering.
