Top SchoolJiefang L is a pragmatic software engineer based in Redmond with three years of professional experience building full-stack and developer tooling at Microsoft and in internships across startups and agencies. At Microsoft they moved from intern work—auto-generating Doxygen docs for the Visual Studio Code C/C++ extension—to a full-time engineering role, showing a knack for developer productivity and scalable features that touch millions of users. Their background blends front-end React/GraphQL experience from Constant Contact and CommCreative with solid engineering practices like TDD and CI learned in production teams. Jiefang also brings an unusual mix of humanities and technical training—MA in Linguistics and an MS in Computer Science—which informs clear specification writing and user-focused design. Colleagues can expect a detail-oriented engineer who ships shipping-focused features while thinking about documentation and developer workflows.
