Senior🎓
Top SchoolJim Phillips is a versatile technology and operations leader turned professional driver with over 25 years of experience spanning systems architecture, IT infrastructure, blockchain ventures, and freight logistics. He founded Panama’s first formal cryptocurrency trading firm (PTYcoin), built production Node.js trading and KYC systems, and led multi-country expansion and retail crypto integrations long before mainstream adoption. As founder/CEO of Oberon Group and Oberon Logistics he blends hands-on engineering (Firebase, JavaScript lead-gen tools) with operational rigor—running a single-truck OTR fleet under carrier leases while managing compliance and carrier relationships. His enterprise background includes architecting high-availability hosting, VMware/Hyper-V migrations, and large-scale monitoring for clients like Amgen and CNN, showing an ability to move between startup ambiguity and corporate complexity. Jim’s uncommon combination of deep infrastructure chops and frontline logistics experience enables pragmatic, end-to-end solutions that bridge digital products and real-world operations. Based in Suwanee, GA, he is equally comfortable designing secure server farms or navigating cross-country freight lanes.
