Senior🎓
Top SchoolJimmy Thomsen is an experienced IT leader and CISO based in Bergen with 11 years in senior roles and over two decades in enterprise IT, specializing in enterprise architecture, mergers and complex application integrations. He has led IT consolidation and data migration efforts across university and healthcare sectors, combining TOGAF, ITIL and PRINCE discipline with hands-on skills as a DBA and developer (Java, PHP, Python, JS) to bridge technical and business teams. His background in security (CEH) and networking (CCNA) complements a pragmatic approach to making business processes smoother and information assets more valuable. As founder and current CISO/CEO of small ventures while previously serving as CIO/CTO/CISO for a regional health trust, he excels at coordinating multidisciplinary projects from strategy through operational delivery. An uncommon strength is his mix of classroom leadership training and deep technical operational experience, enabling effective change management during large institutional mergers.
