Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolJin Qin is a seasoned software engineer and operator with roots in systems and infrastructure dating back to 2008, now leading Engineering and Sales at HydroX.ai where he focuses on AI safety and security for production deployments. He has built mission-critical systems across Microsoft, Oracle, Google, Grab and Flexport, shipping authentication SDKs, block-storage virtualization, IoT safety platforms, and revenue management tooling. Comfortable moving between deep systems work (C, device drivers, virtualization) and cloud-native product delivery, he’s led cross-company integrations like BYOID/Federated OAuth and regional migration efforts. Based in Bellevue, Jin pairs an academic background from USTC and Clemson with a pragmatic startup mindset—recently embracing AI from the implementation side rather than theory—so he’s as likely to debate trust boundaries in libraries as he is to close a customer-driven pilot.
