Top SchoolJingwei Zuo is an efficient machine learning researcher and engineer with eight years of experience focused on accelerating large-model inference and production ML infrastructure. With research stints at MIT HanLab, Tsinghua THUNLP, and Carnegie Mellon, and recent AI infrastructure work at Moonshot AI and Google, Jingwei blends deep academic grounding with hands-on systems integration—optimizing serving strategies, kernel integration, and speculative decoding for LLMs. Now pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Rice, he combines a strong quantitative background in mathematics, physics, and electrical engineering from Tsinghua with practical exposure as an exchange student at Northeastern. Known for persistence—summed up by his GitHub motto valuing endurance—he thrives on long-running engineering challenges that squeeze latency and cost out of large-scale models.
