Top SchoolJinshan Xiong is a Staff Software Engineer with eight years of focused experience in high-performance distributed file systems and system-level engineering, now applying that expertise to autonomous vehicle data and performance subsystems. He has a strong track record from Lustre client and kernel work at Sun/Intel to designing replication and I/O optimizations that delivered up to 80% client performance gains. At Uber, TuSimple, and Zoox he led storage, logging, and data infrastructure efforts, combining runtime analysis with pragmatic system tuning for onboard and offboard workloads. Currently at Google working on Parallelstore in GCP, he brings deep Linux systems knowledge and a knack for squeezing predictable performance out of complex stacks. Colleagues rely on him for hard-to-debug performance bottlenecks and for translating low-level improvements into measurable product benefits. Based in Sunnyvale, he blends research-caliber systems engineering with hands-on delivery in production environments.
