Top SchoolJoachim Von Thadden is a Principal Specialist Solution Architect with 11+ years of hands-on experience designing enterprise-grade, open source–centric infrastructure and cloud solutions, currently at Red Hat in the Cologne/Bonn region. He has spent over a decade in presales doing deep technical dives and POCs for medium to large enterprises, with a strong OpenStack and cloud-native background from his Senior Solutions Architect role across EMEA. Known for bridging deep technical knowledge with customer-facing strategy, he repeatedly turns complex requirements into pragmatic, production-ready architectures. A long-time open source enthusiast, he brings practical OSS advocacy to enterprise settings and often surfaces non-obvious operational trade-offs early in engagements. His early academic grounding in human medicine adds an analytical, systems-thinking perspective to problem solving.
