Top SchoolJoalisson Ricardo is a pragmatic software architect and consultant with over a decade of experience modernizing large, mission-critical PHP systems—most notably as a core contributor to i-Educar, Brazil’s largest educational management platform. He excels at transforming legacy codebases into performant, maintainable architectures using PHP (Symfony, Laravel, Laminas), Node.js, queues and APIs, and has measurable wins in performance, cost reduction and scalability. Comfortable leading teams and mentoring new engineers, he pairs a hands-on engineering approach with clear, business-focused communication. He also brings cloud and messaging experience (AWS, RabbitMQ, SQS, Lambda) and is actively expanding into high-performance PHP runtimes like Swoole/HyperF. Notably, he pursues testing excellence (PHPUnit/Pest) and has a knack for squeezing large performance gains from existing systems rather than starting from scratch.
