Technical Lead at Roche

Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoan Comas is a Technical Lead based in Zug with over a decade of experience designing and delivering enterprise .NET solutions across desktop, device and cloud-native landscapes. At Roche he has driven platform rethinks for point-of-care devices, piloted cloud-native clinical decision support, and translated stakeholder and field insights into pragmatic architecture and product decisions. Deeply experienced in C#, WPF/MVVM, WCF and data access patterns (ADO.NET/EF/LINQ), he pairs hands-on engineering with testable UI frameworks, integration testing, and productivity tooling. Joan has a track record of turning complex regulated-domain needs into usable developer and medical workflows—evident in his BPMN-based no-code specification for medical content. He blends customer-facing research (on-site interviews and pilot evaluations) with low-level technical craftsmanship, making him equally fluent with UX-driven product discovery and the implementation details that make systems reliable.
