Top SchoolJoan Martin is a Barcelona-based technology leader with 13 years of hands-on software engineering experience and a strong academic foundation in mathematics and computer science. As Head of R&D at SIROC and co-founder of the Siroc AI research lab, she blends applied AI/ML, data visualization and cloud infrastructure work with product-focused delivery. Previously she scaled mobile engineering and operations at Mobile Jazz—leading teams of 10–20, acting as interim CTO, product owner and HR lead while shipping 15+ native iOS and cross-platform apps. Her strengths span software architecture, mobile UX, backend systems and business intelligence, and she keeps coding fluently in Apple’s Cocoa ecosystem and Kotlin Multiplatform. Notably, she pairs rigorous academic training (M.Eng. and Stanford AI coursework) with startup instincts, moving research into production-ready products.
