Top SchoolJoanna Chen is a Higher Education Marketing Specialist at Figma with a decade of experience blending design, campus programs, and student engagement to grow product adoption across universities. She moved up internally from coordinating Figma’s Campus Leader program to leading higher-education marketing, bringing hands-on product design experience from roles at Nova and Hussle. A UCLA Design Media Arts graduate with a Digital Humanities minor, Joanna pairs creative visual skills (freelance gallery work and campus design initiatives) with operational chops from resident life leadership and program supervision. Based in San Francisco, she’s known for translating student insights into scalable campus strategies and quietly leverages her Figma fluency every day—literally “getting paid to tap on a keyboard @figma.”
