Top SchoolJoão Lethier is an engineering manager and former CTO with 12 years of experience building and leading web engineering teams across Brazil and the U.S., currently managing engineering at GoCo.io. He combines hands-on full‑stack expertise in Ruby, Rails, Python, Node, Go and React with strong Agile and Scrum practice—having acted as scrum master, led 1:1s, and run delegation poker and tour-of-duty programs. João has a track record of scaling teams and products in fintech and startups (PagBank PagSeguro, Zygo, Bonuz.Me) while owning infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD in AWS and DigitalOcean environments. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded Ofertus and routinely bridges technical decisions with business strategy, bringing a bias for testing and automation from early TDD adoption to current engineering standards.
